Prior Circumstances: Greatland is a leading provider of W-2 and 1099 solutions for businesses. It outgrew its previous corporate headquarters, which was leased.

Solution: To buy a run-down 12,200 sq.ft. office/warehouse and give it an “extreme make-over”. After demolishing its interior and exterior walls, the remaining single-story pre-engineered steel structure was paired with a 2,000 sq.ft. building addition. It was then outfitted with tiered layers of glass and stucco panels, punctuated with blue columns – which provided a striking new appearance. The interior reinforces Greatland’s employee-friendly work culture by providing small-group clusters of open workspaces, a spacious lunch room and sweeping views to the exterior.
